St Clare's Primary School Harold's Cross Dublin 6W

The Minister for Education Ms. Mary Hanafin launched Active Week in our school on December 18th. This was a great day in our school where we had the chance to display all the great activities we do in St. Clare's to keep active. We were the county winners of Active Week in 2007.

The staff in St. Clare's are committed to keeping the children as active as possible while in school. There are a number of extra-curricular activities in the school which promote activeness. These include hurling, football, athletics and mini-tennis. The children are also encouraged to skip at playtime. Some of our children have become excellent skippers. Minister Hanafin really enjoyed our skipping displays and was so enthused that she even joined in with some of our pupils!
