Activities for Pupils
Try one of these every day!
1. Write and sketch a comic strip about a bullying incident among a group of children.
2. Write a Haiku (Japanese style verse with 17 syllables) where you imagine the feelings of someone left out of a game/activity, or imagine how an old lonely person feels day after day.
3. Write down 5 reasons why some people bully others.
4. Write down 4 ways to make our school a Bully Free Zone.
5. Start a diary: Use an ordinary copy or notebook. Whenever you have a spare minute log what’s going on in your life – your worries, your happy moments etc.
6. In your school diary read and think about the school rules. Design a poster to display the rules.
7. Read about any 2 world religions (e.g. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc) - write 3 beliefs they have in common.
8. Select a poem from Bullying Poetry on website. Write it out and think about it. Decorate your page.
9. Write own short story about a boy/girl with a story to tell about bullying!
10. Write own anti-bullying poem.
