Active School Week

Active School Week was a big hit in 1st and 2nd Class! We started the week off by playing soccer with Mr. Hartney.

On Wednesday we took park in table tennis matches in the classroom, as well as designing our own mascots for the Cumann na mBunscoil art competition! The children got to sit on stability balls throughout the day and they will definitely be used in our class again!

Thursday consisted of our showcase where some pupils demonstrated gymnastics techniques as well as table tennis skills!

The skipping challenges ended today but the boys and girls have picked up so many new skipping techniques that will be used on yard and on movement breaks.

Finally, on Friday we had our Summer Olympics and finished the day with a yummy icecream! Well done to all the boys and girls this week.

What a week - and on top of that we are all set for our Communion tomorrow!!
