Constructing Farms in Room 1

Junior and Senior Infants love when they are given a construction challenge. They could not wait to get started when Ms. Tobin challenged them to create a farmyard and some shelter for the new born animals. The boys and girls love to use the magnetic tiles and created some fantastic structures. They made sure to include a door for the farmer to bring the animals in and out. Some creations even had steps so that the farmer could look at the animals from up high. There were great discussions taking place as the children drew their designs on their whiteboards and thought of different ways to keep all the animals safe.
