During November, we completed some lovely winter-themed art, including winter hats, winter trees, a snowflake collage and polar bears in the snow. For STEM, we made snowflakes using big and small marshmallows and matchsticks. We also made some icy blue slime for sensory play! We ended the month by making wintry Rice Krispie buns using white chocolate and white/blue sprinkles. From next week, it will be full steam ahead with Christmas cheer and activities! In fact, would you believe two elves (Sam and Ned) appeared in our classroom overnight with Christmas books, decorations and a felt Christmas tree to decorate! I wonder what mischief they will get up to over the next 3 weeks!
