We in the Junior AS class 2 are so proud of our pupils when they start to use words to communicate. Only a few weeks ago we introduced communication boards for lunch time so that students learn to communicate using symbols or visuals. All pupils have their own communication board and are now requesting their lunchtime choices. See how proficient this student is in using it - complete with words and of course good manners!
This student is also just starting to read. Here he is - a child who had only a few words before Christmas - now reading and speaking in full sentences. Wonderful progress!
