In keeping with our love of music Senior AS Class 1 made a water xylophone for our Science Exhibit. We discovered that we could make music by filling water in glasses and tapping the side or the top of the glass with a metal object. The more water we filled, the lower the pitch of the note because water slows down the sound vibrations! Everyone in the class helped out in writing up our experiment. We even wrote up the notes for a nursery rhyme using our very own Xylephone.
